Activity based learning is a modern-day approach which abides by the sheer idea of incorporating joy in the process of learning. This approach moves across the vertical and horizontal spheres of education, while adopting ways and means which are in sink with the children’s age groups and developmental needs.

At Vision English Medium School, we intend to give an array of experiences to the students through play at an early stage and through more structured means during the later stages of education.

At the Foundation stage, we perfectly understand the mindset of the students which says, “I hear and I forget; I see and I remember; I do and I understand. Here, the school lays great emphasis on helping the students learn the basic literacy skills and numeracy skills while ensuring all-round development in terms of fine-motor skills, gross motor skills, brain development and language skills.

At the higher stage, the students are given more structured experiences through field visits to various vocational units of the Samstha and museums, where they get to learn the practicalities of life. Furthermore, students are given an opportunity to handle teaching aids and games developed by the school and perform small mathematical and scientific experiments to help them understand multiple concepts.

At the Secondary level, specialized subject wise labs such as the Geography Lab, Maths Lab, Science Lab, History Corridor, Language based teaching aids and games, which have been developed and regularly upgraded by the school, supplement the textbooks by giving the students an opportunity to analyze, explore, experiment and shine.

While hands-on training has been proven to be a cornerstone in the process of education by research, we at Vision have been successful at practically experiencing its effects in the process of educational enhancements amongst the students.
